Company Overview

We are a company with the head office in Miri, Sarawak.

Miri - as history has known it, has been the centre of oil and gas activities in Malaysia since the first oil well was struck on a hill there in 1910.

Petroleum Development Act was introduced in 1974 with the aim of promoting and regulating the development of oil and gas industries in Malaysia through the creation of PETROLIAM NASIONAL BERHAD (PETRONAS). The industry which had been monopolized by foreign presence had finally been breached by local players.

Sribima Group of Companies (SRIBIMA) had emerged from this milieu in 1983, with the beautiful Miri Oil Town as the backdrop.

Today, SRIBIMA serves the oil and gas industries through the following core competencies:

• Provision of Offshore Support Vessels, which includes Supply Vessels, Anchor Handling Tugs, Fast Crew Boats, Safety Standby Boats and Landing Craft Transports.
• Provision of Offshore Catering and Services
• Provision of Skilled and Semi-skilled Manpower
• Provision of Offshore Safety Training at SMTC
