Health, Safety and Environment Policy Objectives |

Syarikat Sribima Sdn.Bhd. has established the following objectives in meeting these policies:
- HSE is independent, with at least an equal status of other business objective
The health and safety of its employees, the public and environmental conversation are priority considerations in the planning and execution of all work activities undertaken by Sribima Shipping Sdn.Bhd.
- Proactive implementation approach to identify, eliminate, or minimize incident and environmental exposures and to as low as reasonably achievable, taking into account technical, practical, social, economic, and public-policy considerations
- To ensure employees are medically fit and competent by providing health program and medical screening, adequate supervision and awareness, training and skill development program including effective supervision
- Keep abreast of developing technologies and statutory requirements in preventing injuries and conserving the environment
- Health, Safety and Environment is a line management responsibility and that all levels of management
are held accountable

HSE House Rules |

The House Rules aim to provide clarity on our minimum expectation of individual HSE responsibilities as SSSB staffs irrespective of their position. In doing so we can promote a just and fair working culture.
- I will intervene when I see unsafe behavior (I have a Duty to Stop the work)
- I will observe and follow all HSE related signs, policies and instructions
- I will report all unsafe acts and situations to the relevant supervisor
- I will ensure all work instructions are understood before starting an activity
- I will comply with site Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
- I will adhere to all requirements of the Permit To Work (PTW) systems
- I will use the right tools for the right job and use them correctly
- I will keep workplaces (both office and worksite) clean, tidy and free of obstruction
- I will hold the handrail on staircases
- I will adhere to traffic rules when driving
- I will use a seatbelt, and make sure all other car occupants use seatbelts as well

My Responsibilities as Managing Director or Manager |

I promise, within my area of responsibility, to:
- Put HSE as my top priority
- Demonstrate visible leadership and commitment to HSE and lead by example
Promote a just & fair working culture
- Set targets to continually improve HSE performance
- Account for HSE in business policies, objectives and decision making
- Communicate HSE policies and their relevance to employees
- Allocate adequate resources for HSE management
- Ensure all HSE Critical Roles are filled by competent staff. Where there are gaps appropriate training will be provided, and additional controls implemented
- Actively engage staff on HSE matters
- Ensure that all HSE hazards are identified and assessed, and appropriate training will be provided, and additional controls implemented
- Ensure that all HSE hazards are identified and assessed, and appropriate control measures implemented to reduce risks to “as low as reasonably practicable” (ALARP)
- Maintain a Hazards and Effects Register and HSE Cases as necessary
- Develop and implement annual HSE Plans
- Cascade objectives and targets into individual HSE “Tasks & Targets” for each of my team members, and for them to do the same
- Develop and implement documented processes to maintain the integrity of the assets under my control
- Understand my role in the event of an emergency or crisis, and participate in emergency drills and exercises

I promise, within my area of responsibility, to:
- Put HSE as my top priority
- Demonstrate visible leadership and commitment to HSE
- Set a good example for my team by working safely, and following the HSE policies and procedures
- Demonstrate informed involvement on all HSE matters related to the activities under my responsibility
- Read the HSE Policies and understand my HSE responsibilities
- Make my team members aware of their HSE responsibilities, and the importance of the following “House Rules” procedures and work instruction
- Lead or participate in HSE meetings and take every opportunity to engage my team on HSE matters
- Verify HSE competence of my staff against job requirements, and implement appropriate development plans
- Ensure that all HSE hazards are identified and assessed, and verify that appropriate control measures are implemented to reduce risks to “as low as reasonably practicable” (ALARP)
- Implement procedures and work instructions to manage HSE risks
- Make staff aware of any hazardous activities taking place and the required controls
Provide adequate supervision during the execution of activities (including hazardous activities)
- Make sure my team members practice appropriate safe systems of work like Job Hazard Analysis, toolbox meetings, and Permit to Work
- Understand my role in the event of an emergency and participate in emergency drills and exercises
- Support my team to achieve their “HSE Tasks & Targets”
- Develop and implement annual HSE Plans
- Ensure that appropriate HSE controls are in place before any activities are carried out by my team, including other staff under my control
- Notify, report, appropriately investigate and follow-up on HSE incidents, near misses and non-compliances
- Share lateral learning from incidents and near misses
- Provide accurate information and assistance to audit teams
- Ensure all corrective actions assigned to my team arising from audits, incidents and HSE reviews are implemented on time

My Responsibilities as a Staff |

I promise to:
- Be responsible for my own safety as well as that of my colleagues
- Stop, or not start, any activity if I believe it cannot be done safely, or if it fails to meet the environmental and health standards
- Be aware, understand and implement my HSE responsibilities
- Comply with mandatory HSE training requirements
- Participate actively in HSE meetings
- Comply with “House Rules”, standards, procedures and work instructions
- Raise to my supervisor’s attention issues where standards, procedures and work instructions need improvement
- Familiarise myself with the hazards associated with my work prior to commencement of that work and practice safe system of work appropriate to the hazard
- Attend and actively participate in toolbox talks
- Use appropriate hazard control techniques like “Step Back 5X5”
- Comply with the specific job hazard control requirements, such as described in the Permit to Work
- Know my HSE “Tasks and Target” and strive to meet them
- Understand my role in the event of and emergency and participate in emergency drills and exercises
- Keep my workplace tidy to eradicate unsafe conditions
- Notify my supervisor immediately about HSE incidents, near misses and non-compliaces
Provide accurate information to audit teams
- Ensure all corrective actions assigned to me arising from audits, incidents and HSE reviews are implemented on time
